CIE Governance

The CIE Governance framework is an oversight and advisory function for the CIE Columbus project consisting of two components, an Executive Council and a Product Development Council.

Executive Council

The Executive Council’s primary role is for fiscal accountability and to establish the the long term sustainability business model of the CIE. The Council will also be responsible for approving policies, procedures, technical standards and requirements. They will also build support and gain buy-in as ambassadors for CIE Columbus.

Product Development Council

The Product Development Council’s primary role is to shape the direction and the adoption of the CIE version 1.0, ensuring the project delivers on the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The Council will play a crucial role by offering input on core product components, actively participating in and providing feedback on pilots, being an early adopter, and fostering community support for the CIE.
